We are the Data Within Reach research group, located in the computer science department at Boston College. In our increasingly data-driven world, the ability to understand and communicate data has become an essential skill for people in all walks of life. Our research vision is to make data more accessible and bring it within reach of broader audiences from diverse backgrounds. We aim to inform the world about the best data visualization practice and investigate novel approaches to empower people to interact with data beyond conventional expert analytic systems.
